Today, Class 10 led a Mass for their family and friends in the church. They celebrated the feast day of St. Paschal Baylon. Paschal Baylon was born 16th May 1540. He was a Spanish Roman Catholic and served as a shepherd alongside his father as he was growing up. Whilst doing so, he desired to enter the religious life. He was refused once but was later recognised for his love and compassion towards the sick. He was best known for his strong and deep devotion to the Eucharist. His devotion drew people from all over seeking his counsel, and at his death on 17th May 1592, miracles were reported at his tomb. The process for his canonization opened and in 1618 he was beatified; Pope Alexander VIII canonized him a saint on 16th October 1690.
