Today, we celebrated mass in the school hall with our families. Today's mass was led by the children and celebrated the feast day of St Vincent Ferrer. Vincent was born in Valencia in the year 1350 and died on the 5^th April 1419. He was a faithful follower of God and was ordained a Catholic priest in 1379. Vincent would fast on Wednesdays and Fridays and he loved the Passion of Christ very much. He would help the poor and give alms to them as well as preaching the Word of God.

Lord please help us to follow the ways of St Vincent, especially during this time of Lent when we give, fast and pray to become closer to God.
