Class 6 Mass 15.11.19

On Friday 15th November, Class 6 celebrated a special Mass with Father The and family members in the school hall.

During the introduction reading, we heard about the life of our class saint, Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini, whose feast day is on 13th November. Throughout her life, Saint Frances lived by one very important belief: You have to pray as if everything depends on God, but you have to act as if everything depends on you! Frances knew that God worked through her actions, so she always chose to do good. When Saint Frances died, she left behind a world that was different because of her choices. Today, we honour her as the patron saint of immigrants and hospital workers.

The Gospel reading was from Luke 17: 26-37.

In our bidding prayers, we particularly remembered people whose lives have been affected by war and also members of our families and parish who have died and gone to the Lord.

Well done to all of Class 6 who celebrated Mass with thought and reverence.

Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini, pray for us.
