Year 2 Update: Thursday 7th May 2020

Year 2 Update - Thursday 7th May 2020

As we approach the end of another week, and a Bank Holiday to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day, we'd like to congratulate all of Year 2 on their recent home learning. The sheer volume of photos and positive messages that we have received by e-mail has been fantastic - please keep it up and remember that we are always here for you!

  • A huge well done to all of the recipients of Home Learning Awards. We will continue to award these in the coming weeks, but remember that we are proud of each and every one of you and know how well you are all doing from our recent phone calls!

  • Even more photos have been added to our Year 2 Home Learning Gallery - go and have a look!

  • VE Day activities have been added to our Year 2 home page. Share in the celebrations by having a go at some of the activities at home.

  • We are aware that some children are coming towards the end of completing all of the Year 2 activities on MyMaths - what a fantastic achievement this is! We will be allocating some more MyMaths activities for these children over the coming days, so do look out for these. The activities will be more challenging, so please keep asking the adults at home for support with completing these tasks if you need to. Remember to just do your best!

  • A new Year 2 Weekly Challenge will be announced online on Monday. We can't wait to see you all having a go at it!

  • Finally, please take a minute of your time to nominate Christ the King School, so that we can be in with a chance of winning £5000 worth of new books for our school library. You can find out how to nominate CTK on our Year 2 webpage.

Take care, have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend and God bless.

Miss Madden, Mr Keenan, Mrs France and Mrs Kane
