If your child is unable to attend school on a given day, it is essential that you telephone the school office before 8:30am on 0121 464 9800. If leaving an answer phone message, please clearly state your child's name, class and reason for absence. It is important that this procedure is also followed on any subsequent days of absence, until your child returns to school. This will ensure that their attendance record is accurate and up-to-date.

The school gates open at 8:30am with morning registration at 8.40am. This is the time by which your child must be in class, ready to learn.

Lateness is classed as any child coming into school after 8.40am. All children arriving after 8.40am must enter through the school reception and sign in on the Inventory console.

Any pupil arriving after 9.15am will be classed as an unauthorised absence (code U as per DFE attendance codes).
