We have had a lovely start to Reception and have enjoyed exploring our new environment and making new friends!
Starting School
In Reception we love learning about numbers and shape. We enjoy using the different resources and games to help embed key learning.
Maths fun!
In Reception we use explore colours, textures and materials through lots of different activities. Collage, printing and junk modelling are some of our favourite activities!
Getting creative!
We love learning about the world around us! In our lessons, we explore people, places and nature. We enjoy learning about different cultures and celebrations. This term we have learnt about Diwali.
Diwali
We had an exciting time visiting the Snowdome! Playing in the snow with our friends and watching a Pantomine were our favourite parts of the trip. We even saw Santa!
Trip to the Snowdome
We worked hard to learn the songs and lines for our Christmas Nativity. Our teachers were so proud us and how we have all grown in confidence.
To celebrate the end of term, we had an EYFS fun day. We decorated biscuits, made angel decorations and played games with our teachers and friends.
