Forest School
Over the last two weeks at Forest School, our Nursery children became nature helpers as they made their own bird feeders.
The children carefully spread seed and filled their feeders, developing their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. We talked about why birds might need extra food during the colder months and how we can help care for the wildlife around us.
There was lots of excitement as we chose special places in our outdoor area to hang them. The children showed wonderful teamwork, curiosity and respect for the natural world.
We are looking forward to spotting which birds come to visit!
