Remembrance Day is when we take a quiet moment to think about brave people who have helped us and kept us safe.

In our nursery, we learn about this special day through gentle activities:

 We made poppies using different media and made a class poppy wreath using our handprints. These bright flowers help us remember the soldiers. We watched a simple video with rabbits that explained why we have and celebrate Remembrance Day. We talked about helping our friends, being kind to one another, and being thankful for the people who keep our country safe.

It's a calm and caring time where we show that we remember and appreciate those who are very brave.
