Bonfire Night
We have really enjoyed learning about Bonfire night and discussing our own experiences of visiting Bonfire celebrations. We talked about what we might need to wear to a Bonfire celebration and what food we might get to eat too. We had lots of fun creating firework pictures using lots of different media. We revisited our artist for this term, Jackson Pollock, and created some 'action paintings' using paint to recreate a firework scene. We went on an autumn walk and collected sticks and leaves to create our own Bonfire. Our favourite activity was making edible sparklers that we got to take home. They were delicious!!
