Year 2 Reading Challenge

 

Your challenge this week is to re-create the front cover of one (or more!) of your favourite books and then freeze frame it long enough for a photograph to be taken of your attempt.

 

To complete this challenge, you will have to match the scene from the front cover as closely as you can at home, so think carefully about:

 

• The props that you could use
• The actions and facial expressions of the character(s)
• The type of clothing the character is wearing
• If you need anybody else from your household to be involved too
• If you need help from an adult

 

When you think you've created the front cover, get an adult to take a photograph and send it to us for our school website along with a separate photo of the book cover you were re-creating.

 

This challenge is not about you drawing the front cover or designing a different front cover, it's about putting yourself in the current front cover!
