Be our guest...
We really enjoyed our special WBD book tasting session in our very own ‘Book Bistro’! During the delicious five courses, we sampled a range of texts and noted down our reflections on the menus provided by our waitresses,Gangsta Granny (Miss B), Crocodile (Mrs M), Puss in Boots (Mrs L) and Moaning Myrtle (Mrs H). We made predictions, retrieved facts and opinions, and discussed samples of texts. Ask us what texts we would recommend to you!

What are our warnings signs when we feel unsafe or uncomfortable? Do we all fear the same things? Year 5 explored this and considered strategies to help us overcome such feelings.

Maths is Fun! We have created posters based on what we have learned about perimeter and area...

Our Black History Month Work on Display at Perry Common Library! #proudwriters

As part of our science learning about Earth and Space, we investigated paper rockets. We explored the effect the height of a person has on the distance a paper rocket is thrown. Our predictions were varied but we concluded that the height of a person doesn’t correlate with the distance they are able to throw. We had a lot of fun carrying out this investigation!
