Martineau Gardens
On Wednesday and Thursday this week (WC 15.05.23), the Reception classes enjoyed a trip to Martineau Gardens. This trip was linked to their current learning about growing. It was a fantastic day where the children used their different senses around the gardens to investigate different plants, fruits and vegetables. The children were really excited to see some of the herbs they have begun to grow in Reception were also grown at the Martineau Gardens and they got to taste some too! The children discussed how and what plants need to grow. The children’s behaviour was excellent, the sun was shining and both the staff and children had a brilliant day.
