Welcome to our Poetry Basket
Nursery have been working really hard to memorise short poems. The children's exposure to our poetry basket enriches their language and encourages them to use a wide vocabulary. We hope you enjoy our performances below!
Wise old owl
As part of our Literacy we have looked at the poem Wise old owl. The children loved learning the actions and performing for Mrs Breslin.
Chop chop
The children loved rehearsing the poem Chop chop.
A pointy hat
We learnt the poem A pointy hat which linked to our class book Room on the broom. The children loved performing the actions to each other.
