Year 2 Update: Thursday 9th April 2020 (Easter Holiday Update)
Year 2 Update - Thursday 9th April 2020
Please note: school will be fully closed during the Easter holidays from Thursday 9th April until Monday 27th April. We will re-open for children of key workers only on Monday 27th April.
Staff e-mails will be checked less frequently during this time, so please keep this in mind when contacting us, although we will still endeavour to respond to any queries as soon as we possibly can.
Thank you.
Good Friday Online Children's Liturgy
Dan and Emily from One Life Music, who are regular visitors to Christ the King School, have recorded their second weekly children's liturgy and have made it available online for everybody to watch and take part in.
We have put this recording on our Year 2 R.E webpage for all of the children in Class 5 and Class 6 to access.
Dan and Emily will be recording a new liturgy each week, so keep checking our R.E webpage for the latest one.
Year 2 Weekly Challenges
Some new challenges have been added to our Year 2 Weekly Challenges page ready for the Easter holiday. Can you complete them all and record your learning in your purple books?
Online Learning
We are pleased to see that some more Year 2 children have logged on to MyMaths, Times Tables Rock Stars and Bug Club in the last couple of days.
We hope to continue to see many Year 2 children making use of these websites over the Easter holidays.
Year 2 Home Learning Online Photo Gallery
In recent days, we have continued to add the photographs we have been sent to our Year 2 Home Learning Online Gallery on our Year 2 'Activities at Home' webpage. We've been delighted to see some fantastic examples of home learning that's been taking place during the school closure!
And finally...
The Year 2 Team would like to wish all our families a very happy, Holy Easter. Please continue to stay at home, enjoy your time together, until we are safe to be back as a year group again.
