Yeay 6's Leavers Mass 19.7.19
Today, Year 6 led their last ever Mass for the whole school. It was an emotional day for all of the children and they did a fantastic job. In their own words...
For us, the Year 6 children, it is also the end of our time at Christ the King. We are grateful for all of the wonderful experiences we have had over the past eight years and we will treasure our memories.
We bring our jumpers a sign of our community and family of Christ the King.
We bring our prayer books a sign of our faith journey whilst at Christ the King.
We bring our books, a sign of the knowledge instilled in us at Christ the King.
We look forward to our future challenges as we move to new schools, make new friends and begin the next chapter in our lives.
We also think of the many staff who leave with us and like us start new adventures away from our Christ the King family.
So, today, we reflect and call upon on all holy men and women who have been given to us as models, to be with us and guide us as we strive to share all that we have learnt in our time at Christ the King with all who we meet.
