On Tuesday 7th January 2020, Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Chinese Art & Culture Centre which helped further develop their understanding of our topic - China. The children displayed all of their prior learning about China, particularly historical and geographical facts, and learnt even more about the Shang Dynasty and how early written forms of communication were developed. Throughout the day the children immersed themselves into every activity, which allowed them to experience Chinese culture first hand. As a result of their enthusiastic approach, the children were all proud to create amazing artwork and also different dance routines. It was a thoroughly enjoyable trip and the children were fantastic.
