Year 2 Update: Monday 27th April 2020

Year 2 Update - Monday 27th April 2020

Welcome to the first update after the Easter holiday. Please see the 'Welcome back' message on our Year 2 homepage for a quick update on all things Year 2.

Online Children's Liturgy

Dan and Emily from One Life Music, who are regular visitors to Christ the King School, have recorded their third and fourth weekly children's liturgy over the Easter holiday and have made it available online for everybody to watch and take part in.

We have put these recordings on our Year 2 R.E webpage for all of the children in Class 5 and Class 6 to access.

Dan and Emily will be recording a new liturgy each week, so keep checking our R.E webpage for the latest one.

Year 2 Weekly Challenges

A new challenges has been added to our Year 2 Weekly Challenges page ready for the first week of the Summer Term. Can you complete it and record your learning in your purple book?

Online Learning

We will be continuing to monitor online learning on Times Tables Rockstars, My Maths and Bug Club during this term. Please access these very useful websites as regularly as possible at home.

Year 2 Home Learning Online Photo Gallery

During the Easter holiday, we received some more photos of home learning and they have now been added to our Year 2 Home Learning Online Gallery on our Year 2 'Activities at Home' webpage.

Home Learning Award

The first winners of our Year 2 Home Learning Award have been announced on our Year 2 homepage. Congratulations to the winners! To be in with a chance of achieving a Home Learning Award, you need to show that you are using our online learning websites regularly (Times Tables Rockstars, Bug Club and MyMaths) and/or sending other examples of your home learning in for our photo gallery.

Keep e-mailing in your photos and keep up the hard work!
